HIGH INSULATION ERA IN SLIDING SYSTEMS
Today, the importance of energy conservation and efficient usage is increasing just as much as the value of energy resources themselves. In building complexes, 82% of energy is used for heating purposes, which corresponds to 26% of the total energy consumed in our country. Heat loss in buildings occurs as follows: 40% through external walls, 30% through windows, 17% through external doors or balcony doors, 7% through the roof, and 6% through the floors.
This makes residential buildings and insulation systems, particularly PVC window systems, one of the most crucial areas for energy savings. The fact that energy is both the most limited and the most expensive resource emphasizes the importance of “preserving energy”, i.e., insulation, in window systems.
The Storline system is supported by various components:
These components ensure that the sliding system operates in a balanced way, both structurally and in terms of performance.
Limited energy resources have made efficient use of building systems crucial. Erpen developed the Storline system to reduce heat leakage in window and sliding systems. Because a significant portion of heat loss in buildings originates from windows and glass surfaces, insulated systems are crucial.
Storline is supported by quality documents and test reports produced in accordance with TS-5358 / EN 12608 standards. All product-related documents and reports can be downloaded in PDF format from our website .
